Manu Sareen is a proven leader who has delivered results in the online and brick&mortar retail industry for 20+ years with companies like Amazon & Best Buy. Most recently, in four years at Amazon, Manu managed six private-label brands, launched thousands of products, and scaled the hardlines and consumables businesses globally. As general manager of Amazon’s private label business, he led the growth strategy and several profitability initiatives, for various brands (Amazon Basics, Pinzon, Strathwood, Amazon Branded Store). He led Amazon’s foray into private-label consumables category, creating a strategic roadmap, building a team, and launching brands, Wickedly Prime, Amazon Fresh and Happy Belly.
Prior to Amazon, he held various leadership roles in omnichannel strategy, pricing strategy, merchandising analytics, category management, demand planning, and finance at Best Buy & RadioShack. Throughout his career, Manu has led organizations of up to 150 people, scaled startup businesses, created new business capabilities, managed multibillion-dollar business units, and developed and mentored scores of leaders.
Manu excels at using data-based insights to make strategic, effective business decisions; simplifying highly complex problems; and creating solutions that scale. He has served on startup advisory boards and speaks on pricing strategy at conferences around the globe. Manu is an active member of charities that support children globally and lives in Seattle, Washington, with his wife and two daughters.
